This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora. It is focused on optimizing the quality of life of all those served, by expanding beyond traditional medical care, to the needs of the whole person. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing public affairs and marketing programs aligned with the strategic objectives identified for The Medical Center of Aurora, HealthONE and HCA as determined by the hospital CEO and senior leadership. The Marketing Manager will report to the Service Line Director of Neurosciences and will also take direction from the VP of Business Development and the AVP of Marketing & Public Relations. This position will implement new marketing programs related to the growth and expansion of the Colorado Chiari Institute and other service lines as needed. Community education, public affairs, market research, promotion and marketing programs are directed at increasing awareness of our facility, products, services and physicians. Internal communications focus on educating, informing and recognizing TMCA employees.

Updates website as necessary, performs website maintenance, builds new web pages, writes content for website with input from others as necessary
Proactive internal and external promotion of the facility, services, employees and physicians
Development/production of promotional flyers and brochures
Present updates and relevant information to Senior Leadership, management, staff, etc., as requested
Assist with development of annual marketing plan and budget
Assists with development of social media initiatives; executes initiatives and keeps current with needed updates, trends in social media and other aspects of social marketing
Assist with organizing and promoting special events to internal audiences, the media and the community to continually enhance TMCA's presence and image.
May staff company booth or exhibit at trade and community fairs during evening hours and on weekends.
Education: Undergraduate degree in journalism, marketing, public relations or related field required Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in public relations, marketing or related field (or equivalent experience) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High degree of organization and ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines and projects, with minimal supervision. Cooperative attitude and flexibility to changing priorities is a must, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft office and graphic design programs. Communications skills, including media relations experience, preferred.
