Under occasional supervision, the Environmental Services Housekeeping Aide is responsible for the cleaning of all areas assigned. He/she vacuums all carpet areas; keeps daily records of work; washes windows, walls, and ceilings; and cleans all areas requiring monthly work procedures. He/she works in the Linen Room as needed, replenishes linen in areas worked. Performs all other duties as assigned.
A. Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
B. Experience: 6 months' related experience preferred.
C. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Prefer a basic knowledge of math. This position may require interaction with people of all ages; therefore, the employee must have communications skills appropriate for people of all ages.
