The Medical Center of Aurora, the first community hospital in the Denver Metro area to receive two-time Magnet designation for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is an acute care hospital with specialization in cardiovascular services, neurosciences, surgery, orthopedics and women's services. Position Summary: This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza. Under the supervision of the radiologist and radiology leadership, performs diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols for all patients. Completes appropriate paperwork, charges and history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical skills while following ALARA standards. Provide an excellent patient experience with quality diagnostic results. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Current ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine required. Current BLS required.
Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program required.
Previous hospital experience preferred.
Degree of supervision required:
Involves general guidance and direction by the Radiology Supervisor. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
