This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke's Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic C.T. procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Generates appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current certification by ARRT required with Cat Scan (C.T.) certification required upon hire. Must maintain current registry. Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level. BLS required.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program required.
Experience: 1-2 years recent hospital C.T. experience preferred
Special Qualifications: None required.
Degree of supervision required: Involves general guidance and direction by the Radiology Director and supervisor. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
