The Centura Health Security Analyst II is accountable for security awareness, strategy, and direction of all security related
operations for Centura Health network devices and operating system-based configurations. Responsibilities include
Centura Health/infrastructure security management, ongoing training and escalation of Centura Health security incidents.
Maintain systems and infrastructure integrity via management of Centura Health security perimeter
Create standard deployment methodologies for security infrastructure
Direct the installation and operation of firewall & intrusion detection capabilities
Enforcement of Centura Health security policies
Further security awareness and operational capabilities
Provide forensic analysis and evaluation of possible incidents related to infrastructure devices
Achieve and maintain compliance with HiTrust, PCI, and other healthcare regulatory standards
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Equivalent work experience considered.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years' experience within their area of technical responsibilities, in conjunction with project management.
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication.
Proven record of infrastructure implementation to resolve business problems.
Certification or specialized information security training in one or more of the following required: CISSP, SANS GSEC or above, Microsoft Windows, Cisco, TCP/IP, Websense, Palo Alto.
Equivalent work experience considered.

Review and respond to internal security issues and change requests*
Evaluate Centura Health security infrastructure logs and reports for incidents*
Provide training and security accreditation for designated groups*
Direct Centura Health host-based protection deployment strategies *
Support special projects and deployment of new implementations not yet standardized as a product*
Provide direction and approval for Centura Health infrastructure network design*
Provide direction and approval for various operating systems hardening guides*
Conduct security audits of infrastructure networks, servers, workstations, and other systems*
Approval vector and liaison for external security audits*
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
