Provide high quality medical care for hospital patients.
Participate in chart audits and quality assurance activities.
Facilitate transition of care at discharge.
Communicate health status and treatment plan to patient, family and hospital staff.
Document treatment information completely for patient care and billing purposes.
Conduct educational activities in required curriculums when assigned.
Teach medical students, resident and others in graduate health programs.
Attend interdisciplinary or nursing rounds.
Communicate daily with team caring for the patient.
Keep abreast of latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
Develop personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education including maintaining board certification.
Attend and actively contribute to meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
3+ years of residency training in internal or family medicine required.
Current physician license in State of Colorado or eligible to obtain same.
Board certification from either the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Family Medicine, or eligible to test for board certification when next scheduled.
Current ACLS Certificate from American Heart Association.
