The Administrative Fellowship is a year-long program in which the administrative fellow gains valuable exposure to system and departmental operations through projects, work assignment rotations in various areas that may include (but not limited to) administration, operations, finance, business development/strategy, physician relations, quality improvement, marketing and human resources. This will include participation in meetings and other professional experiences within Centura Health facility(s). This role is actively engaged in significant areas of healthcare management through project management, committee service and role assignments through which the Fellow gains valuable professional experience while promoting the organization's mission and values and demonstrating leadership potential Under the direction of the Centura Health Executive Leadership team, the Administrative Fellow participates in and contributes to operational, administrative and strategic issues of concern to Senior Leadership. As part of a post-graduate educational program, the Administrative Fellow applies the theories, principles and skills learned in the academic portion of their Business or Healthcare Administration graduate training with the guidance of a preceptor who is a member of the Executive Leadership team. The projects and rotations will be customized toward the fellow's interests and the needs of the senior-level management team.
Minimum Education Requirements
Must have completed a master's degree from an accredited program in health care administration, health services administration, business administration, or public health and/or completing the final year of such programs.
Residency programs are applicable.

Ability to manage multiple successful projects and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess self-motivation, teamwork skill, and emotional intelligence.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database development.

Builds a broad range of healthcare management, administrative, and leadership skills through project work, committee participation, and work assignment rotations.*
Partners with executive leadership and managers through Centura Health's Operating Groups to obtain operational goals and foster relationships.*
Undertakes, coordinates, and completes selected projects according to needs of the institution and the interest of the fellow.*
Participate in departmental organizational rotations (specified time), become fully integrated in the department but keep the duration limited to ensure effective time utilization.*
Communicates regularly with the hospital COO and VP of Operations to keep them informed of project progression, achievements, and potential barriers.
Seeks professional development feedback from administrators, preceptors, mentors and other colleagues. Identifying expected and desired outcomes prior to participating in a learning experience.*
