Lead and train Registration Representatives I & II, oversees scheduling, resource person, system expert. Provides support to Supervisor(s) and Manager.
Be available to work as scheduled and report to work on time

Is able to perform all the functions/duties of the Registration Reps I & II
Assist the supervisor with the monitoring, organization, and delegation of the teamâ??s workload
Print daily reports and data gathering for summary and weekly tracking documents
Act as a liaison between the Registration staff, supervisor, and customers (patients)
Provide training and guidance for staff
Provide input on employee performance evaluations as requested
Propose procedural and system changes for enhancing the teamâ??s productivity, quality and efficiency
Report key factors of productivity and appropriate analysis to supervisor as needed
Participate on committees as needed to enhance department operations
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Assume responsibility for the smooth operation of the department in the supervisorâ??s absence
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based upon SCL Health's needs or requirements
Manage and/or redistribute the workload when staff is absent or overwhelmed. This includes working line positions on all shifts when necessary
Qualifications High School diploma/GED or equivalent, basic computer knowledge, 3 years hospital/medical office or medical insurance experience. Able to perform the registration functions of a Registration Representative I, II & III.
