In this role, the Virtual Health Clinical Coordinator will assist the Virtual Health Director in managing and optimizing clinical operations and service levels associated with Virtual Health.
1. Work collaboratively with the Director to identify, define and implement Virtual Health projects, and assist in building the infrastructure of the Virtual Health Department at St. James Healthcare. 2. Assist the Virtual Health Director in managing and optimizing clinical operations and service levels 3. Act as a resource for providing on-site telehealth technology support including installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of equipment 4. Provide excellent customer service 5. Develop and/or revise and communicate policies, procedures, quality standards, and processes for patient care delivery 6. Take lead role to assist in the design of training manuals and related materials to support a fully integrated learning management system 7. Interfaces with the SJB Outreach Team and Virtual Health staff in order to coordinate service delivery 8. Develops collaborative relationships, linkages, and partnerships to identify opportunities and promote the growth and utilization of telehealth in the region and nationally 9. Responsible for assessing stakeholder needs and creating activities, tools, and other resources to advance the development, implementation and integration of Virtual Health 10. May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. 11. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
ASN degree from accredited program required upon hire* BSN degree from an accredited program required within 60 months of hire (5 years)*
Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License* Basic Life Support certification Advanced Life Support certification required within 9 months of hire
Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in an area applicable to the use and development of telehealth/telemedicine technologies. Minimum 2 yearsâ™ experience using Microsoft programs and applications
