Provides direct and indirect nursing patient care as assigned. Aids and assists the Cardiologist in the performance of complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, electrophysiology studies/ablations, PPM/AICD implants and PFO/ASD closure procedures. Act as a resource and provide clinical support to Cardiovascular Technologists and other non-licensed unit personnel as assigned. Work a variable schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be on call in a rotating schedule and be able to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification.
Associates Degree from an accredited School of Nursing – REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree – PREFERRED
1 year ED/Critical Care experience – REQUIRED
1+ year(s) Cath Lab experience– PREFERRED
EP experience – PREFERRED
Current Colorado RN License
BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
CCRN or RCIS – PREFERRED
