Minimum 3 years hospital billing or patient accounting.
5 years hospital or physician billing experience.
Charge capture or charge audit experience.

Intermediate proficiency level with MS Office products including Word and Excel.
Intermediate level knowledge of medical billing, insurance, and compliance regulations.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and coding, specifically CPT codes and HCPCS codes as they relate to pharmacy charges.
Epic hospital billing experience.
Experience with pharmacy or medication documentation and pharmacy billing guidelines, including ability to calculate unit conversions for proper charging.
Demonstrate a higher level of understanding of decimal mathematical calculations to determine appropriate billing units.
