Responsible for supervising Imaging techs and support staff. Manages the day to day operations of the department including staff scheduling, coordinating daily work activities, participation the recruitment and selection process, training and mentoring staff, performance evaluations, implementing quality and process improvement initiatives and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Associate's degree strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Three years of experience performing Interventional Rad Tech duties
Previous leadership experience, preferred
Current DORA Registration with the State of Colorado
For entities with shortages of qualified personnel, must be obtained within 24 months of hire; otherwise is required
Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , preferred
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
