·Assistance in preparing the annual budget for Diversified Services- interfacing heavily with the Director of Decision Support and Diversified Services management.
·Assist the Controller and Diversified Services management with compiling the list of Diversified Services capital requests and preparing ROIs as necessary
·Interface heavily with Accounting and Diversified Services operations to communicate monthly operational results and drive enhanced performance
·Assist VVMC Controller in consultation with Diversified Services management in the preparation of month end variance narratives and perform tasks as assigned by the Controller related to month end needs
·Accurately maintain and track physician compensation for multiple physicians, keeping track of physician's performance metrics and how that impacts their overall compensation, in accordance with physician contracts and physician incentive compensation plan.Completes reports in accordance with established deadlines.
·Ensure that physician payments are in the amounts and within the timelines specified inaccordance with physician contracts and physician incentive compensation plan
·Create/maintain the physician incentive compensation plan template, which incorporates the calculation of various quality, productivity, 360 survey results, and quality/performance metrics
·Maintain and prepare monthly physician reports:
oVolumes, revenues, wRVUs, coding profiles
oPhysician productivity reports
·Work with Patient Financial Services and Diversified Services management to identify revenue cycle opportunities to improve key performance indicators
oAssist staff with revenue cycle process and make proposals as necessary
·Provide Ad-hoc analysis as requested by the CFO, the Controller, the Senior Director of Finance, and Diversified Services management to be used in making operational decisions
·Prepare journal entries to account for Diversified Services late charges entered
·Prepare journal entries for unusual and infrequent expense items
·Track extra shift compensation for hospitalist physicians.
·Maintain, update, and prepare journal entries related to physician compensation
·Analyze Diversified Services contractual adjustments and AR to ensure net revenue is stated appropriately
·Interface heavily with Decision Support to ensure the accuracy and consistency of physician reports
·Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field of study.CPA is preferred.
·Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance or Accounting.Financial Analyst experience in either a Hospital or Physician Practice environment preferred.
·Excellent Microsoft excel skills: demonstrate an ability to compose pivot tables and complex formulas
·Have a firm understanding of how the flow of data across multiple systems can impact reports
·Be able to communicate effectively
·Be able to analyze results effectively
·Be detail oriented and maintain accuracy
·Maintain positive relationships with the operations team and physicians
