RN/Operating Room Nurse Coordinator Harmony Surgery Center Fort Collins
Clinical management of the unit on a shift-by-shift basis. Direct the daily work flow of employees and train staff on appropriate processes and procedures. Perform supervisory functions for assigned employee group.
Motivate employees to achieve department goals. Maintain an environment where employees have an opportunity for job satisfaction and accountability. Facilitate shift coordination, including staff assignments according to the unit matrix, completion of productivity documentation, patient placement, problem solving, and communication of essential information to appropriate resources. Perform supervisory functions including initial contact for employee complaints, providing ongoing performance feedback and coaching, delivering corrective actions up to and including First Written Warnings (with appropriate and needed coaching by NM and/or Director), collaborating with manager on delivering further corrective action, conducting performance evaluations, and participation in the hiring process.
Graduate of Nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
1 year perioperative experience.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant life support certification as defined by unit certification list. CAPA
certification required within 18 months of hire.
Minimum 1 year nursing experience on unit preferred. Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
