The Practice Optimization Specialist is responsible for supporting the Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) Practice Optimization department with the project management and implementation of process improvement activities. Responsibilities may include project management functions such as assigning/tracking individual responsibilities and project resources, setting deadlines, as well as process improvement recommendations and implementations, or the collection, manipulation, and analysis of data for Practice Optimization. Under the guidance of the Associate Administrator Practice Optimization, an individual in this role will assist leadership in making operational decisions, prioritizing projects, and implementing improvements to increase performance and efficiency within the organization.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred 5 years of direct Healthcare experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years of work experience

Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an *)
Coordinates and completes assigned projects for the Practice Optimization Department.*
Responsible for assisting with the end-to-end development and management of the overall project plan, delineating responsibilities, milestones, timelines, and deliverables, process improvement implementations, or creating and maintaining reports, queries, tables and downloads while analyzing trends and variances in detail over time and against national and local benchmarks.*
Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation for all activities as required.*
Consults with others across the enterprise in solving project problems and suggests methods to improve the efficiency, productivity, and operations of clinics.*
Maintain and demonstrate good team work on assigned project through actions and job performance.*
Assists with a variety of related projects on an ad-hoc basis.*
Assists with data collection and analysis within clinics to support Practice Optimization efforts.*
Analyzes statistical data, guides appropriate review methodology and utilizes appropriate reporting tools in the evaluation of organization performance.*
Investigates process improvement opportunities through analysis of clinic data.*
Uses statistical data analysis methodology to determine initiatives that are value add to the clinics.*
