Under the direction of the Manager and or Director, assists in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the Clinic to deliver optimal quality care to patients in each out patient setting. Maintains excellent quality in medical assistant and nursing work, clinical supplies and equipment, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with the site managers and medical director to maximize clinical efficiency and effectiveness in the service line.

Ensure excellent nursing quality in patient care, with particular attention to patient safety and exceptional service – 35%
Identifies and directs human and material resources to provide effective and efficient patient care.
Maintains up-to-date, optimum departmental standards of clinical operations, and educates and monitors clinical staff in the performance of clinical duties.
Acts as a role model for exceptional service for patients by consistently demonstrating the SHARE competencies and reinforcing them with other clinical providers and staff.
Verifies clinical staff competencies through direct observation and regular testing.
Orient and train new associates and educate and mentor less experienced clinical staff.
Provide expertise and guidance in the knowledge of nursing standards and practice.
Monitors medical records charting of medical assistants for appropriateness and completeness.
Ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory agencies such as CLIA, OSHA, State Board of Nursing, and others.
Participate in quality initiatives and advocate for them, actively embracing any process improvements that are generated.
Monitor patient satisfaction and implement ideas that may improve it.
Plan resources and schedule staff in order to meet the needs of all clinicians and facilitate smooth functioning of each outpatient office – 35%
Assure that each provider has the clinical assistance needed to provide efficient and effective care to each patient.
Performs clinical assistant duties and maintains medical records in an exceptional manner, providing a model for other associates.
Monitors and coordinates the daily tasks and activities of the department to ensure that each worker is contributing at the most effective level.
Effectively engages in problem solving and conflict resolution to maintain smooth clinical operations in all areas.
Provide effective stewardship of resources, overseeing and maintaining clinical supplies and equipment - 20%
Maintains clinical equipment in working order and makes recommendations for new acquisitions.
Has working knowledge of all clinical equipment, including its function, use, cleaning, care, and storage; able to train new staff to competence in handling any piece of equipment in the department.
Monitors medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, laboratory supplies; maintains systems for purchasing, protocols for appropriate storage, utilization, and disposal.
