We're looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse, RN to work in University of Colorado Hospital Cancer Center's Hematology Oncology Specialty Clinics.
University of Colorado Hospital Cancer Center is Colorado's only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Our advanced facility contains multidisciplinary cancer care teams, cancer super-specialists, molecular tumor testing, and all phases of cancer clinical trials. We have some of the highest five-year cancer survival rates of any center in the Rocky Mountain region, especially for late-stage cancers.
At least 6 months of related nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. BSN is required for new hires or to be attained within three years of acceptance of the position.
An unrestricted, CO RN license (or a compact RN license and obtain a CO RN license within 90 days of start date)
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course).
Preferred At least 1 years of RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital unit with Med/Surg or Oncology patients ONS ***Unit pays up to twenty hours of pay to complete coursework*** Experience in a Magnet, academic hospital
