The Physician Billing Cash Management Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of office functions. Including but not limited to, supervision of associates, patient relations, and quality improvement.
Â·Works to resolve billing/insurance issues and ensures compliance with departmental and governmental policies.
Â·Responsible for mentoring associates, and participates in interviews, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines and evaluation of associates. Monitors associate productivity and quality standards.
Â·Provides leadership and direction in resolving operational issues. Serves as a resource person for associates.
Â·Monitors and evaluates key processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
Â·Addresses customer complaints and ensures that follow-up action is taken and documented.
Â·Responsible for completing and participating on special projects.
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of related experience
General computer skills. Typing, 10-key, and MS Office products including Word and Excel. Knowledge of general medical billing, insurance, and compliance regulations and coding. Medical terminology.
