Schedule: This is a PRN position with no guaranteed number of hours. This is NOT a benefits eligible position.
Shift: Variable, shifts will be booked on an as needed basis.
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Associate's Degree strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements
One year imaging experience strongly preferred
For entities with shortages of qualified personnel, must be obtained within one year of hire; otherwise is required Registered Technologist, Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R)(MR)(ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support certification required from American Heart Association
Ability to work in both a team environment, and indepently
Must be friendly, outgoing and have excellent patient skills
1 year experience required
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
