Develop, implement, and oversee clinical pharmacy services. Coordinate the maintenance of a cost-effective formulary through drug evaluation, overseeing the buyers at each hospital, and educating physicians and staff. Work with other clinical managers and coordinators to assure quality pharmacy services. Coordinate the pharmacy intern / extern / doctorate student program. Has 24 hour on call responsibility and assists with budget preparation and monitoring.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Pharmacy or PharmD required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3 years as a clinical pharmacist, hospital preferred but not required.
Understanding of the components of a clinical service Demonstrated understanding of the components of a clinical service.
Experience in formulary management (i.e., P&T, MUE, and ADR reporting programs).
Teaching experience obtained during a Pharm.D., residency program, BCPS or other advanced pharmacy certification.
Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams and management.
Education or experience in the application of continuous quality-improvement, teambuilding, and individual/team autonomy methodologies in a professional environment.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams; management and communication skills
Registered in Colorado.
