Summary Determines that correct charges are entered for patient care services. Communicates estimates of charges for services, corrects problems with billing. Assures documentation in the use of biologicals in surgical procedures according to Federal guidelines. Coordinates with Finance concerning all aspects of perioperative services charges. Audits internal surgery to determine correct charging practices, including the use of HCPCS and revenue codes, to ensure all charges are set up to follow Federal and State compliance billing guidelines
Education Graduation from a school of nursing. Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience 2 years' surgical nursing experience in perioperative or surgical setting.
Licensure State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
