A Master's prepared nurse who functions in the roles of direct caregiver, educator, consultant, coordinator and researcher within the organization. The goal is to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to improve and maintain the quality of care delivered to clients throughout the system. This role supports the development of care delivered to clients throughout the system. This role supports the development of clinical practice standards and provides clinical education and skills supervision within a specific clinical team. Measurable improvements in clinical and skills outcomes as well as customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness serve as the indicators for job performance in this role.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree required
Master's Degree in Nursing (or within 6 months of graduation) required
Current licensure in the State of Colorado
BCLS certification required
A CLS for CNS/critical care required
Certification in area of practice preferred (CCRN for Critical Care CNS, OCN/AOCN for Oncology CNS, Med/Surg Certification for Med/Surg CNS)
ED Degree in Education
Three years staff nurse experience in area of specialty required
