PeaceHealth is hiring for a Director Risk Management!
The Director provides for the oversight of Risk Management Programs in alignment with PeaceHealth mission and values, and according to regulatory requirements.
Provides leadership for operational effectiveness, personnel management, fiscal accountability and positive relations with both internal and external key stakeholders
In collaboration with other Communities and System Risk Management, develops annual objectives including goals and strategies and creates and monitors infrastructure, systems, processes and standards to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborates in directing recruitment, training, development and evaluation of Risk Management staff.
Oversees development, implementation, and monitoring of operating and capital budgets. Accountable for meeting budgetary and operational targets.
Bachelor degree: Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field is required; equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Graduate degree in Law or health related field preferred.
Seven years of Risk Management experience or equivalent required.
Five years management experience required.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (if not currently certified will be expected to become certified within one year of employment)
