Responsible for oversight of all pharmacy operations including staff management, contract management, pharmacy purchasing, staff management, business development, inter-actions with other hospital departments and medical staff.

Provide and foster innovative leadership for inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services using evidence-based practice in day to day operations to achieve desired clinical, service, and fiscal outcomes.
Provide supervision of pharmacy managers (inpatient and outpatient) as they perform their roles in supervising and evaluating performance of staff, and serve as a clinical resource to the areas of responsibility as well as the interdisciplinary team while providing oversight to develop, implement, and monitor compliance of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Ensure safety and quality initiatives and regulatory standards are achieved and, when possible, exceeded for each service.
Oversee billing and budgetary processes, and ensure that care/services are provided at the most desirable cost in order to meet fiscal targets.
Collaborate with providers and organizational leaders to achieve the organizationâ™s mission and vision.
Review staff and departmental performance in relation to strategic initiatives and organizational goals, and implements necessary change using LEAN methodology to effect continuous improvement in clinical/financial outcomes.
Role model principles of Relationship-Based Care.

Minimum of two years experience as a pharmacy manager.
State of Colorado Registered Pharmacist license required.
Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate OR Adult Immunization Training Program for Pharmacists certificate required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association required.
Computer / Typing:
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
