Performs administrative duties such as greeting patients, scheduling, answering phones and coordinating general requests in an office setting. The Patient Access Rep is the first line of communication between a patient and staff and will promote the relationship based care philosophy to ensure quality and continuity of care within a patient centered environment to staff, families, and our community.

Manage, direct and respond to incoming office correspondence as deemed appropriate, including mail, email, faxes, and telephone calls and forward queries to the appropriate staff.
Warmly greets all visitors and effectively navigates the patient and loved ones through the front desk registration process. Assisting patient with questionnaire tablet, insurance information or proper physician referral.
Routinely schedule appointments for all procedures educating each patient with pre-exam and if necessary post exam requirements within scope.
Establishes files, maintains information, and scans medical records in a timely and organized manner.
Organize, monitor, and order front desk supply inventory to assure cost effective departmental spending.
Organizes, generates and distributes patient reminder, results, and recall letters to be compliant with MQSA and ACR standards.
Manage incoming and outgoing patient imaging CDâ™s and medical records per MQSA and ACR standards.
Participates in orientation and training of new employees.
Attend and provide feedback for departmental staff meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

Minimum two years of customer service and clerical experience.
Computer / Typing:
