Under direction of RN, provides assistance in patient care in accordance to the patient care standards in a comprehensive manner through the use of the nursing process.The PCT-C performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC.
Current BLS Certification required.Current Colorado certification as a CNA required.
Graduate of Accredited CNA program
One to two years experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Demonstrates good organizational skills.
Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
Some specified skills may be required by specific departments.
III.Degree of Supervision Required:
Under supervision of RN.
Minimum of 2 weeks contingent upon experience.Extensive orientation may be required and will be determined by Department Director.
