Performs mammography exams and prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies. Provides care for assigned patients. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for proper use of equipment to minimize hazard and maximize patient safety while maintaining A.L.A.R.A. standards. Secondary duties include clerical duties, answering phones, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning. Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment. Adheres to the Rose Code at all times.
ARRT (R) (M) Mammography registry & BLS required
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
1 year Mammography experience preferred, but not required
Breast Ultrasound, Dexa experience preferred
