This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Performs and edits EKG's. Performs treadmill exercise stress tests and operates EKG monitoring equipment during pharmacological tests. Applies Holter monitoring systems and scans results. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education: Completion of a formal EKG training program. Formal training in the field of Stress Testing preferred.
Experience: Minimum one year hospital or clinical experience preferred.
Special Qualifications: Basic knowledge of 12 lead EKG interpretation, computer skills and cardiac anatomy. Communicates positively and professionally with all customers. Provides safe care, displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Medical terminology. Basic keyboard and computer skills.
Degree of supervision required: Involves general guidance and direction by the Director of Cardiac Testing/Clinical Coordinator. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
