Research Medical Center is currently looking for a Non-Certified Cancer Registar.
The function of the Cancer Registrar is to maintain the efficient operation of a cancer registry in accordance with the American College of Surgeons guidelines.
These duties include collecting and analyzing data relating to patients diagnosed and treated for cancers, conducting continual follow-up on these patients and providing support for the hospital oncology program.
High school diploma required along with enrollment in Associates Degree program in medical billing/coding. Associate's Degree preferred
RHIT certification preferred
1-2 + years previous experience in registry work or a medical records department preferred
