Summary Clinical Dietitian II
Plans, coordinates, and implements nutritional therapy services for assigned populations.
Job Duties Assesses patient's nutritional status and needs. Develops and implements patient care plans and assesses patient responses. Collaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy. Participates in and coordinates departmental initiatives relative to patient care. Develops and conducts education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, and other health care team members/departments, and/or the public. Functions as a preceptor in support of the dietetic internship program
Requirements Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration with advanced specialty certification CNSC, CSO, CSR, CSP, CSG, CDE 3 years' experience in clinical nutrition Bachelor's in Human Nutrition or related field. Completion of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved Dietetic internship.
