Shift: This is a full-time position requiring about 40 hours per week.
Occasional travel to other sites to meet the needs of the clinic may be required.
Provide management of daily operations of the clinic. Responsible for administration of business, financial and clinical functions of the practice. Assists with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the delivery of Centura's healthcare services within the community. Practices personal accountability and leads staff to be personally accountable for achieving set goals and objectives as well as mission and core values. Assumes responsibility for the overall daily operations of the clinic and community initiatives so that quality patient care is delivered in the most cost effective manner while enhancing the quality and safety of care delivery. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years clinic practice experience and 1 year leadership role or 3 years supervisory experience (if no clinic experience)
Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )
Provides management of all day -to-day clinic operations: staffing, personnel, patient throughput,
equipment/supplies, IT, engineering, physician relations, marketing, and community relations.*
Oversees the clinic staff in all activities to ensure high quality standards are met and to keep facility running smoothly.*
Responsible for all aspects of customer service and service recovery.*
Monitors, develops, coaches, and mentors staff to achieve outcomes for quality patient care.*
Oversees the adherence to patient billing and revenue cycle standards.*
Recognizes and embraces opportunities for improvement in the service of the clinic and organization's goals.*
Facilitates creative development of new processes and standards that ensure quality patient care and a smooth running clinic.*
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the service and facility operations and programs and initiating required changes or improvements.*
Educates staff in performance improvement activities while coaching staff for enhanced problem solving.*
Assists with staff recruitment and selection.*
Proficient in practice management, electronic medical records.*
Accountable for monitoring and managing the operational and capital budgets. Understands how to strengthen clinic through good financial planning and implementation. Applies key financial concepts to decision making.*
Achieves clinic goals and objectives using a participative approach to improve the quality of care and market position.*
Facilitates performance improvement initiatives to improve processes throughout the facility.*
Supports initiatives that increase patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.*
Supports clinic operations as needed (clinic throughput, office/administrative tasks, etc.).*
Seeks out learning opportunities and continuing education to advance skill set.*
Seeks experiences that reflect current practice in order to maintain skills and competence in clinical practice or role performance.*
Maintains professional records that provide evidence of competency and lifelong learning.*
Evaluates one's own integrity and clinical practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations. Takes action to achieve goals identified during the evaluation process.*
