Summary Pharmacist Clinical Outpatient - PRN - All Shifts/Combo of Shifts
Ensures the appropriate selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders in the Ambulatory Pharmacy.
Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems.
Recommends formulary alternatives when appropriate.
Compounds and dispenses medications for retail sales.
Provides drug information and education to consumers. Communicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
State licensure as a Pharmacist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
Pharm.D. degree or Pharmacy Residency is preferred
