Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients in individual units. Responsibilities include quality focused treatments, patient experience quality metrics and development of individuals in the areas of service and quality care. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator performs delegated duties and functions within the philosophy and overall scope of responsibility. Wesley Medical Center is verified by the American College of Surgeons Committee on trauma (ACS-COT) as a Level I Trauma Center. This level of verification is highest level of verification a trauma center can obtain. Trauma patients are brought to our world-class facilities by ground and air ambulances from across Kansas and northern Oklahoma. Required Registration, Licensure or Certification
Current Kansas Registered Nurse License. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Preferred Registration, Licensure or Certification
Current TNCC Required Education or Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Preferred Education or Experience
Masters of Science in Nursing preferred Required Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrates good organizational skills, ability to plan and provide for delivery of nursing services.
Ability to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory and practice
