This position is responsible for responding to associate questions and inquiries about benefit programs, human resources policies and payroll. Provides assistance with disability, health and life benefits, paid time off, etc. Prepares appropriate documentation and processes necessary paperwork. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the department. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to telephone inquiries from associates and vendors regarding pay, benefits and HR policies.
Applies experience and knowledge of policies, procedures and benefits and demonstrates the ability to exercise good judgment in the application of this knowledge while problem solving with associates on the telephone.
Develop and control all tasks necessary to accomplish the organizationsâ?? Human Resources, benefit and payroll processing objectives, including relationships with internal and external vendors.
Coordinate with site and processing teams to ensure accurate processing of timekeeping, incomes and deductions, benefits, status changes, reviews, salary changes, terminations, etc.
Coordinate with teams regarding â??open enrollmentâ??, performance management, market adjustments, compression adjustments, etc.
Follow operational procedures to ensure efficiency
Ensure the volume of work produced meets or exceeds product, service or quality standards.
Suggest recommendations to change procedures that will improve process/procedures.
Implement approved procedures and quality control measures.
Assure process and procedures updates are maintained and communicated to all groups.
Ensure timely and accurate implementation of changes.
Ensures the consistent application of organization policies.
Train employees on various aspects of benefit administration at New Employee Welcome and Open Enrollment.
Assist associates on HR Payroll System and Time and Attendance System.
Assist managers and employees on personnel procedures.
Provides assistance on Special projects as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent, required.
Two to four years work experience in a high volume office with experience in Human Resources, benefits and/or payroll, required.
Excellent analytic, communication and organizational skills, required.
Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy, with minimal supervision in a high volume environment, required.
Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional, helpful attitude toward other associates and vendors, required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, required.
Associates degree or equivalent, preferred.
Benefit administrations, payroll and HR experience, preferred.
