Summary--Call Center Rep II, Evenings
This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk), hourly position based in Fort Collins, Colorado. You must be able to work the following hours:Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm11:00 pm; rotating weekends.
Call Center Representative II answers telephone calls from the public and the system, facilitates communications throughout the system through the use of multiple communication tools and systems, and serves as the Information Center for staff, physicians and community.
Process all incoming telephone calls to the system which requires knowledge of all departments, services, physicians and key staff within the system.
Provide notifications and activation of many emergency systems and protocols including Code Blues, trauma, internal/external disaster and critical alarm monitoring.
Provide Physician answering services after hours for designated clinics and departments.
Provide On Call services for other departments.
Act as an interim Command Center in emergency situations, ensuring communications flow until formal center established by Administration.
Assist in coordination of any unusual events, and off hours assistance for the Nursing Coordinator and Security with triaging calls, calling departments or services as needed.
Provide referral services for the system health services and activities.
Function as the Information Center, seven days per week, 24 hours per day. Ensure open communication in the department.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent learning experience
2 years PBX/switchboard experience
Experience working in a high-volume, high-stress call center environment
