Performs angiography, special procedures and radiological diagnostic procedures. Operates diagnostic and monitoring equipment, processes images and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Maintains sterile technique and field. Is able to provide care for his/her assigned patients. Is responsible for logging patient dose data. Maintains A.L.A.R.A standards while performing all types of procedures. Follows the mission of RMC and adheres to the polices and code of RMC. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety. Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning. and conducting QC on equipment.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT(R), ARRT(IR) preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association. Basic EKG
Graduate accredited school of medical radiography.
