The Managed Care Contracting Specialist works with the Executive Director of Access and Reimbursement to manage and negotiate hospital contracts. Responsible for all contracts management of facility, professional and ancillary agreements. Negotiates contracts to assure the optimum balance of progressive growth and profitability. The Managed Care Contracting Specialist coordinates closely with various departments, as well as, contracted entity.
Requirements for the Managed Care Contracting Specialist include:
Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred.
At least 5yrs experience working with health insurance contracts, including within a hospital environment.
Proven track record with contract negotiations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
