We are recruiting for a Director, Human Resources Services and Operations to join our Human Resources Department in Louisville, Kentucky.
Directs and is accountable for the consistent delivery of enterprise wide HR onboarding services across the shared service model. Responsible for HR operational strategies, financial management and budgets, and customer relationship management. Provide vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for the development of a cost-effective department while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the HR Shared Service Center. Responsible for analyzing and directing all function-related activities within the scope of employee onboarding.
Accountable for creating all service standards metrics and ensuring all service standards are monitored and inappropriate levels are handled consistently and fairly throughout the HR Shared Services.
Accountable for identifying and effecting continuous improvement and service delivery excellence opportunities throughout the operations functions by identifying and adopting best practices.
Collaborates and engages HR leaders to ensure that HR operations are aligned with HR strategic initiatives and plans. Functions as the HR Shared Services Center operations leader on complex issues that need resolutions or escalation.
Collaborates on initiatives to enhance tools and services including HR portals to provide tier 0 support for employees.
Oversees the interpretation of onboarding metrics and drives process improvement initiatives in this area.
Provides leadership, direction, coaching, feedback, and, where appropriate, discipline to and through subordinate team members.
Serves as a role model for high quality customer service; ensures that the needs and expectations of all customers are consistently met or exceeded.
Models and actively champions the importance of knowing, supporting, and adhering to organizational policies and procedures, including confidentiality.
Ensures that organizational requirements for systems standards are being met and that recordkeeping meets company standards.
Supports Mergers and Acquisitions
Partners with Information Technology and Recruiters to identify and implement changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of new hire onboarding.
Ensures that state and federal background check guidelines are being met and changes are communicated to the field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people including employees, physicians, board members, visitors, patients and families, outside consultants and senior hospital, region and division management.
Ability to work under stress and to respond quickly in emergency situations. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work cooperatively as a leader and as a member of a team.

Excellent knowledge of all HR functions and employment laws.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
Ability to use computer software, analyze data and produce reports.
Approximate percent of the time required to travel: less than 5%.
