The Assistant Clinical Director provides leadership to the MICU, SICU, CCU and newly designed Stepdown Unit start up. The Assistant Clinical Director will work closely with the Director of Patient Care to improve quality, communication, teamwork and resources to all ICU areas. The Assistant Clinical Director provides a clinical resource for ICU staff and the RRT and will act as an RRT responder, as needed. The Assistant Director will function independently as a leader and they will advocate for the nursing staff, provide mentoring when necessary to correct performance and practice. Individual will be responsible for completion of all managerial responsibilities including performance management, disciplinary concerns etc.
This key managment position requires a BSN and CCRN certification is highly preferred.
The managment team is responsible for the successful transformation of a new critical care model for the facility.
