Coordinates and assists the daily functions of Accounting, accounting systems and/or financial reporting within the assigned function. Monitors the activities of the staff and provides coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training as necessary. Assists and prioritizes projects and general workload of accounting staff. Ensures that corporate guidelines and accounting/accounts payable policies are enforced. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with customers in support of Centura’s mission and departmental goals.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• 5 - 7 years of experience in accounting or related field; preferably with a health care system.
  
• Must be proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications, preferably Excel.
  
• Prefer experience with Lawson software, Cost Report preparation, capital processes and auditing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• CPA, preferred

Physical Requirements: Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
