The Human Resources Manager- Manages the administration of Human Resource policies and programs to ensure consistency including but not limited to personnel actions and disciplinary action. Manages all issues relating to workers' compensation and employee safety. Responsible for retaining, recording and reporting EEO/AAP. Tracks training programs and ensures annual required training is conducted.
Key Responsibilities include:
Responsible for human resource administration.
Develops and delivers written and verbal communication for all employees concerning benefits and HR policies and procedures.
Establishes formal recruitment activities, including screening and hiring new employees. Ensures site compliance with Federal and state labor regulations. Maintains accurate and complete personnel files. Maintains and updates HRIS and communicates relevant information pertaining to employee status and compensation to payroll.
Coordinates the preparation of job descriptions for all positions.
Files and manages workers compensation claims with Regional Loss Control.
Supervises HR duties that clerical staff and communication staff are assigned to ensure that proper communication skills are utilized, as well as ensuring procedures are followed regularly and in a timely manner.
Coordinates and promotes service oriented and employee related activities.
Provides essential Human Resources functions and clerical support for administrative staff.
Assists Administrator with the daily operations, as well, as special projects and technical assistance.
Functions as liaison between Administrator, other facility directs and supervisory staff. Making routine decisions as necessary.
