The Manager Preconstruction Cost Estimator, Design & Construction, supports all physical plant construction, renovation, restoration and major repair programs at any BH/Acute facility. Advises individual facility managing director and creates accurate project cost estimates to assist the facilities in growth planning and implementation for buildings and the facility campus. Identifies project cost risk that may significantly impact the price or schedule of the build.
Job Duties:
Estimates all construction projects while closely working with Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Finance Directors, C-Suite, Regional Project Managers, Regional Facility Managers, Director of Plant Operations, FF&E and IT in the development of project scope and price.
Ensures project estimates incorporate latest Behavioral Health/ Acute construction standards and best practices. Guides project teams in following the project funding approval process for pre-validation, validation and request for full funding.
