COOK -FULL TIME TIME- Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed hospital located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment is critical. JOB SUMMARY: The cook participates in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff and guests in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. Must have availability for every weekend, evenings and some holiday's. Hours may include: 9:30am-6pm
Prepares meals as outlined on the menu prepared by supervisor. Effectively operates food preparation equipment to fry, boil, roast, bake, broil, mix, and assemble food items. Follows recipes and directions as indicated. Prepares "special diet" meals as indicated. Prepares food for special functions. Follows sanitary guidelines as established by supervisor and regulatory agencies. Washes dishes, trays, and utensils promptly and thoroughly. Washes tables and dinning adequately area after meals as assigned. Sweeps and mops kitchen as necessary. Promptly removes trash as assigned. Adequately performs other cleaning activities as assigned by dietary supervisor.
