Korn Ferry has been engaged to identify the next President and Chief Executive Officer for the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The NRMP is an internationally recognized organization, the largest of its kind in the world, and it is highly regarded among academic and clinical medical professionals within the undergraduate and graduate medical education communities.
The NRMP is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1952 to standardize the matching of students and graduates of United States and international medical schools to residency and fellowship training positions at U.S. teaching institutions.
As the Board prepares for the next chapter, it looks forward to identifying a CEO to build on the NRMP’s rich legacy and position the organization to innovate and expand.
Korn Ferry is seeking individuals who:
Have knowledge of the medical education continuum, with emphasis on graduate medical education;
Possess ten to fifteen years of experience in health care field or another relevant industry as a senior executive of a complex regional, national, or international organization;
Have demonstrated experience working closely with a governing board in the development of strategic initiatives and organizational policies and procedures;
Is a strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus;
