Under the general supervision of the Department Director, the Manager is responsible for the efficient, effective running of the assigned units. This includes, but is not limited to provision of patient care services, performance improvement, compliance with regulatory standards, and business development. In collaboration with other members of the department, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the department.
Medical City Weatherford is a 103 bed, all private room hospital that includes a network of medical clinics serving Parker County. The dedicated and experienced medical staff represents more than 31 medical specialties. Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing. BS degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum five years clinical experience in area of specialty or related clinical field with one year charge experience.
Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, experience in quality improvement, self directed, excellent time management and problem solving skills.
Current Registered Nurse license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Current American Heart Association BCLS certification or within one week of employment.
ACLS and PALS at time of hire or within 90 days of hire.
