Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited to:
Schedules procedures as needed, coordinates times and equipment, specialized equipment and supplies with Charge Nurse.
Assists in running of the Operating Room schedule on a daily basis.
Answers Nursing Station telephone within three rings, states location and name, then relays message to appropriate person.
Demonstrates awareness of and respect for patient/family/SO needs in relation to confidentiality, privacy, security, complaint resolution and spiritual and cultural needs.
High school diploma or GED required
1 to 3 years in the medical field in some capacity (i.e. Unit Secretary, Medical Receptionist, etc.)
