Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Must have good time management, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
RN with current licensure or RN with temporary permit to practice from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
Must have a minimum of an ADN
Must have a minimum of one year RN experience in acute care and wound care to include but not limited to wound vacs, and ostomy markings
Must have current BLS AHA at the time of hire
Must have ACLS or certified within 30 days of hire AHA
National Board Certification in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred
