Rio Grande Regional Hospital is currently looking for a Clinical Educator (RN) Operating Room.
Coordinates and/or performs a variety of staff development functions to include, but not limited to: department specific needs assessment, staff needs assessment, development of goals and objectives, creating an educational plan, implementation of educational plan , evaluation of education activities
Provides Education to all staff
Continuous Focus on Process Improvement
Participate in Committee and Special Projects, as assigned
Acts as role model demonstrating high quality clinical skills
Implements the strategic plan of the department aligning Corporate, Division and Facility Goals
Ensures Department Compliance with TJC Standards and all other accrediting agencies
Licensed as an RN in the state of Texas.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
CNOR is required.
BSN is preferred. If candidate doesn't have a BSN must be enrolled in a current BSN program.
Three or more years of direct patient care in a hospital Operating Room setting is required.
