Current license as a RN
Current certification as a BLS, PALS, NIH, and ACLS Healthcare Provider
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
2+ years of experience as a RN in a critical care setting
1+ years of experience in management required

Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
Registered nurse who demonstrates critical thinking skills and leadership within the department's scope of services, and patient care delivery. Assumes responsibility and accountability for assisting with the management of human and physical resources to deliver affordable quality care. Administers plans and evaluates the activities of the hospital to ensure quality patient care. Assumes leadership and management of licensed and non licensed staff in the absence of nurse manager. Responsible for bed management coordination. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.
The RN Supervisor will have a medium workload exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs frequently and/or up to 10 lbs constantly. The RN Supervisor manages stress appropriately and can make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work in areas that are confined and/or crowded. Works independently, manages anger/fear/hostility of others appropriately, and demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership. The minimum requirements of this position require the individual to: stand, lift, stoop, bend, walk, talk, answer telephones, and use computer.
