The Certified Nursing Assistance assists in basic patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and general supervision of the staff nurse.
The CNA is responsible for the care appropriate to the ages of the patients served including adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
Formal nurse aid training.
Previous CNA or unit secretary experience preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must able to push and pull up to 150 pounds on cart. Knowledge of medical terminology. Good customer service skills.
